Favorite subject
My favorite subject during this semester, by far, has been Problems of modern Architecture. At the beginning, I did not know what was it about, i did not even know what modern architecture was. I enjoyed the course because I learnt a lot things I have interest on. And now, when the semester is ending, modern architecture has become one of the most interesting topics in the theory of architecture to me, and many of the architects of the movement have become some of my favorites. I never expected how deep this topic could be. Example of that is the architect Adolf Loos. If I have had seen his works 5 months ago, before the beginning of the course, probably I would not have liked it, I would not have found any sense, but now, I understand properly his architecture, his purpose and I actually really like it.
